Information Collection, Disclosure and Use

When you use our website, you are not required to register or provide any personal information. The information we gather on the site falls into two categories: 1)tracking information and 2)personal information that you provide when you interact with the site by e-mailing us or requesting to be added to e-lists.

Tracking Information:

In order to improve our site, we may collect information such as the number of visitors that use the site, their browser type, the Internet address of the Web site from which you linked directly to our site, and pages visited on the site. None of this information identifies you personally.

We use cookies to store and and sometimes track user information. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. Personally Provided Information:

IPI provides links to other Internet sites that provide health information. Once you link to another site, you are subject to the privacy policy of that new site.

Children's Privacy:

Our site is a general audience site and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children. If a child whom we know to be under 13 makes personally identifiable information known to us, we will use that information only to respond directly to the child to inform him that we must have parental consent for any further interaction.

International Privacy:

Our site is hosted by servers in the United States. We may have site visitors from countries around the world. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to the United States. By submitting your personal information, you consent to its transfer, its storage and its use in accordance with this IPI policy.
